Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancellations (Before Order Ships):

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can issue a full refund before your order leaves our warehouse. You can reach us during business hours at (864) 881-1206, through the chat feature on our site, or by emailing support@bookcaseoasis.com anytime.

Cancellations of Custom Orders:

Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded once placed. This is because these items are produced specifically for your order. Your purchase is covered by a warranty ensuring a fully functional product. If you are unsure whether your order is custom, please contact us. All sales are final for custom-made and made-to-order items.

Refunds and Returns:

You may exchange your product if needed. Due to significant increases in freight shipping costs, customers are responsible for all shipping expenses related to returns and exchanges. Additionally, outright returns will incur a 20% cancellation/restocking fee. If you are exchanging an item for a different product, we may be able to help cover some costs, depending on the item.

Customers have 30 days from the date they receive an item to initiate a return. However, please check the specific return policy on the individual product page, as brand-specific policies override this general 30-day timeframe.

Shipping Times:

We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Estimated shipping times on product pages are based on information from our suppliers and freight companies, but these estimates can change without notice due to factors beyond our control (e.g., supply chain issues, manufacturing delays, shipping demand, labor shortages). While frustrating, order delays are currently unavoidable, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during these times. We thank you for your business.

Important Acknowledgements Before Purchase:

By making a purchase from Bookcase Oasis, you agree to the following:

• I will inspect the package upon delivery. If there is any damage, I will make a note of it, take pictures, and provide them to Bookcase Oasis within 24 hours of delivery.
• I am responsible for the cost of return shipping and the cost of new product shipping if I request a refund or exchange.
• Products must be returned unopened and unused. An additional restocking fee may apply.
• If I return my order after it has shipped, I will be responsible for actual return shipping fees and a 20% cancellation/restocking fee.
• I understand that estimated shipping dates are just estimates and may change due to factors beyond Bookcase Oasis's control.
• I agree not to cancel my order or file a chargeback solely due to an order delay or an incorrect estimated time caused by factors outside of Bookcase Oasis's control (such as manufacturing and logistical issues with our partners).

Damages:

Please inspect your item(s) packaging upon arrival. If you notice any damage, make a note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) arrived damaged, please send photos of the damage, the box, and the SKU, along with a brief description, to support@bookcaseoasis.com. We will then process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos for freight damage must be sent within 24 hours of arrival; otherwise, the claim may not be valid. Any punctures or visible external damage must be reported within 24 hours.

Warranty:

Warranties vary by manufacturer; please see individual product pages for details. Warranties cover damages that occur over time with use. Items damaged upon arrival that are not reported within 30 days do not qualify as a warranty claim.

Returns:

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, customers are responsible for all return shipping charges or reconsignment fees caused by customer error. Almost all our products come with guaranteed warranty policies, ensuring you receive a fully functional product without extra expense. Please see individual product pages for specific details.

Buy One Get One (BOGO) Promotions:

For BOGO promotions, both items must be returned for a full refund. If only one item is supported and returned, you will receive a replacement of that item or store credit for its standalone value. If your order has already shipped, you, the buyer, will be responsible for actual return shipping charges and potentially a restocking fee, depending on the manufacturer. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card used for the purchase.

Chargebacks:

Our team is here to help and resolve any issues. We believe our policies are fair and industry-leading, and we are committed to assisting you and providing the best possible resolution.

Therefore, any customer who files a fraudulent chargeback will be held criminally liable for theft. If you have not received a product or have an issue with a product you received, please contact us directly, and we will work with you to resolve it.
